About the Artist

LaShanna is the daughter of Bishop Larry Leonard and Dorothy Ellis-Leonard.  A Native of Arkansas, but Houstonian at heart, LaShanna Leonard is a Minister, Motivational Speaker, Performing Artist and Entrepreneur. She is the founder of The Talitha Cumi Dance Experience and Destiny Reign Outreach. Now the CEO and Founder of LDL Enterprises, the father company of her all-encompassing kingdom ventures. 

LaShanna spent her early years as a reticent child.  Enrolled in her first dance class at four years old, she found a new world that introduced her to movement, creativity and interaction.  Learning dance styles from ballet to african she quickly embraced performing arts and the people around her.  This was her Life Defining Moment that would escort her into Destiny Discovery.

A graduate of University of Houston, LaShanna earned a B.A. in Theatre and Dance and later completed her studies for Education.  Working with non-profit organizations, low-income communities and ministries abroad, she began to see the focus of her purpose taking shape.  Leadership, Public Speaking and Coordinating quickly became the qualities noted by her peers and mentors.

As she grew, the Lord imparted into her more dynamics and divisions of what He had called her to.  Miss Leonard has comfortably embraced her call thus she operates as a Minister, Author, Motivational Speaker, Performing Artist and Entrepreneur.

She is a new author of an empowering book, "Destiny Discovery". 

As an artist, she has performed and traveled with some of the greatest companies, theatre troupes and production companies.

As a minister, she teaches the principles and character of God allowing the people of God to maximize their lives in every way.
The vision continues with construction development for housing and career programs for the young women of the U.S and Africa.

With grace and strategy, she is focusing on the call upon her life and God-given endeavors that constantly cause her to gleam these words with a wink, "I'm Working on Something".
